Zork1

Zork2

Zork3

Interface input "Keyboard"

Zork was a first generation iteractive game, it requires a good mental apptitude and thinking skills.

Oh a bit of graph paper and some pencils with erasers will be helpful also.

"It is dark, you have been eaten by a Gruu"

Viking Siege

Interface Input, "Mouse and Keyboard"

Based on an actual old vicking game, this is a basic one dimensinal chess variant with a twist.

It does have some of the first "Hínt" based per move capabilities found in later games such as

Battle chess as well. So fairly easy to work your way through.

Renegade Legion

Interface Input "Keyboard" with some basic Mouse interaction

Renegade Legion Manual "Basic" PDF

Renegade Ship Cards (Very Useful)

This game was a one of the first Chess like turn based Computer games of its time.

You build a squad of ships which you equip and load out even to the engine Specifications.

One wrong move and they will either not fly due to improper power output or Explode

due to engine overload.

Like a chess game it is played on a one dimensinal screen platform

(EGA or VGA Color mode available), with turn based elements.

Like later space games the ships are based on a hexagonal movement ration giving them

a full range of movement on the game field.

If I remember right this can also be played "on one computer" as a two player game.

StarWars Rebel Assault

Interface Input, " Joystick (Highly Suggested), Mouse, or Keyboard"

A later more immersed Space sim which used some actual video clip shots intigrated into the game.

This one is a real challange for timing, and reactionary responces.

But does not allow for much story based or selective interaction.

It is a straight forward game which follows  a series or step by step based game play.

Wing Commander Academy

Interface Input, "Keyboard, Mouse, Joystick (Recomended)

One of the first Space VGA to Super VGA Computer games, based on the long lived Wing commander Series,

was designed as the "Basic Flight School" simulator of the Wing Commander Universe.

This game allows you vast options from setting up the basic game field, "Astroids, and such"

to the type and number of enemy fighters you will have to take on.

A Must for those who rank themselves as a good ship Pilot.
